OUR BELIEFS

 

A.     The Divine inspiration of scriptures- 2 Timothy 3:16  All scriptures are inspired by God.

 

B.      The Trinity- Genesis 1:26  Let us make man in our image.

 

C.      The fall of man- Genesis 3:6  Adam and eves sin. (They did eat of the tree)

 

D.      Conditions for salvation-John 5:24-  He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life,…

 

E.       Evidence of Salvation- II Corinthians 5:17-Therefore if any man be in Christ he is a new creature; old things have passed away; behold all things are become new.

 

F.       Sanctification-II Timothy 2:21-If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the masters use…

 

G.      Baptism in the Holy Ghost-Acts 2:2-And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the house where they were sitting.

 

H.      Evidence of the Holy Ghost infilling-I Corinthians 14  They spoke in an unknown tongue.

 

I.        Water Baptism-John 1:31-And I knew him not; but that he should be made manifest to , therefore am I come baptizing with  water.

 

J.        Holy Communion- I Corinthians 11:24-25  Bread as His broken body and wine as his blood shed.

 

K.      Foot washing John 13:5  Jesus sets an example by washing the disciples feet.

 

L.       Child dedication- Ephesians 6:4-Fathers provoke not your children to wrath. Prov. 22:6- Train up a child in the way he should go, he will not depart from it.

 

M.    Purpose for the Church-I Corinthians 12:12-24- All members of the body are important. (arms, legs, eyes, ears, mouth, etc.)

 

N.      Purpose for the ministry- Ephesians 4:11-  And God gave some, apostles, prophets, evangelist, pastors, and teachers.

 

O.      Divine Healing-Isaiah 53:5-But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities, … and with His stripes we are healed.

 

P.       Premillennial Rapture-Matthew 25:31-32, Rev. 1:7, 22:20, Rev. 16:15  Behold I come as a thief. Blessed Is he that watcheth…

 

Q.      Millennial Reign of Christ- Rev 20:6-  Reign with Christ for a thousand years.

 

R.      Final Judgment- Matthew 25:31-32-  Separating the sheep from the  goats.

 

S.       Tithing and offerings- Malachi 3:10-  Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse.

 

T.      Holiness- Hebrew 12:14  Without Holiness  no man can see the Lord.

 

U.      Fruits of the Spirit- Galatians 5:22-23- Love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance…

 

V.      Gifts of the Spirit-I Corinthians 12:7-11-Words of wisdom, words of knowledge, faith, gifts of healing, working of miracles, prophecy, discernment, divers tongues.

 

W.    Justification by Faith- Romans 5:1-Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 3:28-W/O the deeds of law.

 

X.      Works- James 2:24-Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

 

Y.      Divorce and Remarriage-Matthew 5:32-But I say unto you, that whosoever shall put away his wife, saying for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery;  and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

 

Z.      Grace- II Corinthians 12:9-My grace is sufficient for thee; for my strength is made perfect in weakness.
